Wow, you have oodles abloom in your garden. We are expecting a freeze tonight. UGH... It will hopefully be the last. I love the cross vine. This is a native in our area. Of course no one sells it because it is a native here. I am on the lookout for one. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteLisa,
DeleteI think the cold weather is behind us. We had a bunch of rain last night and it was 55° here but I think it's behind us for the most part. I was busy planting things last week, so I'm sure the rain will do them good. Plus, it will soften the ground for the master gardeners to dig for their plant sell. :0)
Randy,
ReplyDeleteWell to say that your garden as well as talents may cause one to seethe with jealousy and envy would be and understatement, lol. Gorgeous !!! absolutely gorgeous !!! I trust the storms of last evening were not close to your area, take care and keep the beauty updates coming. Take care. – gary
Gary,
DeleteNo damage from the storms at all. Just got to sweet a little mulch back in the beds this afternoon. :0)
Wow Randy your photos and plants are beautiful How lucky you are to be able to grow amaryllis in the garden. I have one blooming inside right now and so now I'm wondering if I should move it outside. I recognize that last iris. How special you still have it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tina! And yes, that last iris is a beauty! ;0)
DeleteNice photos. I have the white flowering Lady Banks. It is covered with buds but no blooms yet. I love the scent. 'Christabel' is just so gorgeous. I love those colors. I have the lavender colored Solanum crispum 'Glasnevin.' I wish I could grow the white one too but I think it is a little more sensitive to the cold. Yours is gorgeous. Happy spring!
ReplyDeleteGrace,
ReplyDeleteThe Solanum crispum 'Glasnevin' is gorgeous! I've never seen it before. I am seeing the most new plants right here lately. It's very exciting!
Beautiful flowers! I love 'Carmen'. Such lovely shading on that one.
ReplyDeleteWow---you really have alot blooming down there, Randy... I love your Lady BANKS Rose--since my maiden name was BANKS.... How 'bout that??? ha ha
ReplyDeleteOur Clematis is just beginning to grow... Can't wait til we see some blooms on ours.
We saw TONS of Tulips today since we went to Biltmore... Awesome.
Hugs,
Betsy
I love your bearded iris! So gorgeous. The amaryllis is awesome too. I've seen such beautiful amaryllis displays this spring, I am really thinking of planting some. My mom always grew them when I was little, so they are very nostalgic to me.
ReplyDeleteYou have a nice collection blooming right now. I dug up a crossvine seedling from my old job last year, I don't know if it will bloom this year, but it has tripled in size.
ReplyDeleteThat Ajuga really does give a show and for such a small bloom, a big punch of color indeed! I added mine about two years ago and it is really taking off now. I love the stuff as I don't really do a thing to it. My favorite kind of plant, little maintenance...
